I cried today.
I don't cry often, but today I did.
I cried, because my heart was broken.
I cried, because of the tragedy I saw on video from a senseless act.
I was overwhelmed with emotion and confusion.
How could this happen?
I couldn't help but think of all the people who were affected.
The people who died, their families, the people who were injured, and the people who were in the vicinity were all affected.
I couldn't help but think about all the people who lost their lives and maybe weren't ready.
It just doesn't seem fair.
But I also cried, because God is still good.
God is still good and He is still present when bad things happen.
And that is overwhelming.
God's grace and His goodness doesn't end.
So even if everything is falling apart, even if tragedy strikes, even if nothing is going right, still I will praise Him.
If nothing else good comes from this tragedy, remember this.
Christians, we still have work to do.
We still have lives to change, people to love, and a God to pursue daily.
Nothing is going to change unless we come together as one, put aside our differences, and work to love others just as Jesus did.
The thing is, God loves those who do harm just was much as He loves those who do good.
We have to remember this GREAT LOVE and remember that we are reflectors of God.
We are reflectors of Him, because He created us in HIS IMAGE.
So you can cry and you can mourn, but remember God is still on the throne and there is still work to be done in His name, for His glory.
And it is all to be done in LOVE.
