Favorite Christian Resources

So this blog post is going to be a little different than what I have done before, but I feel it is important. I constantly see Christians looking for more devotionals, more books, more podcasts, more bloggers, more YouTubers, etc.  So, I figured I would compile a list of some of my favorites for y'all. I would love to hear in the comments what yours are!

Blogs:

  1. Soulscripts by Jordan Lee

Jordan has been a big inspiration to me to start blogging and to go deeper into the Word God. She is a wonderful human being, she is real, she is open, she is honest, and she is a great example of a Christian woman. She also created the sisterhood that you can become a part of here! I would highly encourage you to check out her blog and website, because there are amazing resources for you to dive into. I will also link her social media here, here, and here
  2. Bloomandbless by Emily Carpenter

Emily started bloom and bless to encourage women and help them find their purpose. She is such an authentic and caring person. She also recently released her first ebook called "She Arose". You can find it here
  3. Stephanie May Wilson

Stephanie writes a lot about friendships, relationships, and of course faith! She is such an open book when it comes to sharing. She was once the party girl, the non-christian, the girl looking for love in all the wrong places. She's been where you are and she is working to build a community for young women to feel comfortable as if they were at their best friend's house. Also she's releasing a new devotional and prayer journal on July 10th!
  4. Phylicia Masonheimer

Phylicia is a mother, wife, writer, and Jesus follower. Her blog exists to help answer the hard questions. She discusses relationships, marriage, sex, faith, and more. She is all about finding the biblical answers for the cultural questions. She wrote a book called Christian Cosmo which is about reframing the stigma around sex. She discusses the tough topics from a Christian perspective which is what we need more of in this world.

Podcasts:

  1. Uniquely Woman

This podcast is by Phylicia Masonheimer and Lisa Hensley. These women discuss all kinds of topics that intertwine faith and womanhood. This is the first podcast I ever listened to and I am now hooked on this one and podcasts in general! I love their honesty and the way that they openly discuss issues within faith and womanhood, whether you are a mother, a wife, or a single.
  2. That Sounds Fun

This podcast is by Annie F. Downs. Annie is an author and speaker. She invites people on her "show" to talk about new books, faith, travel, life, etc. Basically she talks about all things that she finds fun. You''ll laugh and on some occasions you may shed a tear, but its all with a good heart.

YouTube:

  1. Stevie Jean

Stevie is a faith and lifestyle YouTuber. She shares about, well faith and life... She has a way of exposing the truth in the Bible and putting it in a way we can understand. On occasion, she also creates videos that show her artistic side, like this one. She is a person who embraces her awkward tendencies, so if you are awkward too then she might just be the YouTuber for you... hahaha
  2. Clayton Jennings

Clayton is an evangelist who really started out on YouTube. He is authentic. He is raw. He exposes the truth for what it is. If you like a person who is blunt and truthful, while still being loving and sharing Jesus then you should for sure check out Clayton.

Books:

  1. Rooted by Banning Liebscher.

Ya'll, I love this book. It's about being planted in the Word of God in order to know your true identity. It will make you think and it will probably even expose some things about yourself that you might need to work on.
  2. Without Rival by Lisa Bevere

This book is one I am currently reading. A lot of times we see people as our rivals. We see people as those we have to compete against. This book shows us that we don't have to live this way, because we can find deep communication and belongingness with our Father and Creator.
  3. Lipstick Gospel by Stephanie May WIlson

This is another book I am currently reading. I love it, because Stephanie shares her heart and her story with such passion, pureness and authenticity. She shares the struggles that she had and how she found Jesus through them. You can actually get this as an ebook for free right now!

This concludes my list of Christian blogs, podcasts, YouTube channels, and books. I know that there are so many more, but that would be a long blog post! I hope that these suggestions help you to further your walk with God.

Feel free to share in the comments what some of your favorites are and let me know if you enjoy these kind of blog posts!
