Meet me at The Well
I don't know about you, but I have struggled throughout my life to find good, solid, uplifting friendships. I would always dream of having girls nights or having deep conversations with close friends or even getting together for a bible study, yet often I would find myself alone in my bedroom. Even today I find myself seeking solitude, which is totally okay, but at the same time we need community. Jesus built His following with a strong community of everyday people. Jesus actually wants us to have friends! He wants us to pursue relationship, so that we can band together for His sake. As cliche as it sounds, we are stronger together. It is much easier to handle our issues if we have someone in our corner. So if you are in need of a friend, let me be that for you. You don't have to do this life alone. There are people out there in this world who are ready to cheer you on, push you to pursue your dreams, and help you to be a better you.
This week‘s Featured Creative is Kaci Piccillo. She is a 20-something from the San Francisco Bay Area. She graduated from Biola University in Southern California. She currently works in a corporate communications role, but she also blogs about faith and lifestyle at kacinicole.com. She says “I love using story and analogy to communicate things I'm learning in my own walk with God with the hope of encouraging others”. Kaci believes that her mission right now is to use creativity and communication to make Jesus known and to encourage others in their journeys of faith and living out their purpose. Kaci desires that in everything she puts her hands to, she would show others how loved they are by God, and to point them to Him.
